Camara Kambon to perform at the House of Henry

Camara Kambon is an American Jazz pianist, film composer, music producer, and songwriter. At age 23, he became the youngest composer to receive a national Emmy award for scoring the HBO film “Sonny Liston”: The Mysterious Life and Death of a Champion. He has received three Emmy nominations, three Grammy nominations, and a BMI Pop Award and Film/TV Award. As a pianist, he has performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Roy Hargrove, Delfeayo Marsalis, Roberta Flack, Gary Bartz, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, to list a few. The trio will consist of Camar Kambon on piano, Steve Gilmore on bass (three-time Grammy winner), and Brent Purcell on drums.
