SUMMARY:Luke Pinegar returns to the House of Henry with Mike Levine
DESCRIPTION:The Gulf Jazz Society Concert will feature vocalist Luke Pinegar\, also playing saxophone and trumpet.  \n\n\n\nBorn in northern Alabama\, Luke has been bringing his soulful music to the Gulf Coast and beyond for many years. But in this concert\, he will be stepping out front not only as a vocalist\, but as a wonderful instrumentalist performing on the saxophone and trumpet. He will be performing from the Great American songbook and the music of such greats as Frank Sinatra\, Louis Armstrong\, Nat King Cole\, and Otis Redding. Pinegar will be joined by Miami-born pianist Mike Levine\, who has performed with such greats as Michael Brecker\, Toots Theilman\, Nat Adderly\, and Ira Sullivan\, to name just a few.  \n\n\n\nAlso playing will be three-time Grammy Award winner\, bassist Steve Gilmore\, who has performed and recorded with Phil Woods\, Tony Bennett\, Tom Waits\, and Jim Hall and others.
