This is a reminder… The Gulf Jazz Society 2nd Tuesday event is at a new location and our entertainment will feature the third time winner of the Senior Division of the Annual World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest and Festival. That took place several weeks ago at Ole Miss in Oxford, MS. Bobby Van Deusen will be playing some of those songs written prior to 1940 that were required for the competition and lots more of your Jazz favorites. Bobby will be accompanied by Steve Gilmore, Artistic and Executive Director of the Gulf Jazz Society on the double bass.
Join us at the new NEONS BEACH SHACK, 8501 Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach (former location of Dat Cajun Place). Doors open at 5:30pm Music starts at 6:30pm. Admission for Gulf Jazz Society members is $10.00, non-members $15.00. Members can pay their 2023 dues by check or cash. Applications for new memberships will be available.
