Saxophonist Craig Duran trio with Mike Levine and Steve Gilmore will entertain at the House of Henry from on December 2nd at the House of Henry in Pamama City.
Craig graduated from the University of North Florida with a Jazz studies degree, and then went on to play professionally at many venues. While at UNF, he shared the stage with the Branford and Wynton Marsallis, Joe Williams, the Count Basie Orchestra, Dianne Reeves, and many more. Most recently, he has become a popular performer at all the local venues on the “30-A scene”.
Craig will be accompanied by Miami born pianist Mike Levine, whose band has been the opening act for Michael Franks, Gato Barbieri, Dionne Warwick and many others. Mike has four CDs to his credit. Also performing with Craig will be three-time Grammy winner, bassist Steve Gilmore, who has performed on over 150 jazz albums and played with the great alto sax-master Phil Woods for more than forty years.Tony Bennett, Jim Hall, and Tom Waits, to name just a few.
