Craig Duran Trio in Concert September 18th

Gulf Jazz Society Concert will feature the Craig Duran Trio with Craig Duran on saxophone and local favorite, pianist Cam Ray pianist, and three-time Grammy award winner Steve Gilmore on acoustic bass. Craig Duran graduated in 1990 from the University of North. Florida (UNF) with a Jazz Studies degree, and went to play at Disney World, on cruise ships, and other regional venues with pop, jazz, and reggae bands. While at UNF, Craig learned from and shared the stage with jazz greats like Branford and Wynton Marsallis, Joe Williams, Count Basie Orchestra, Diane Reeves, Cassandra Wilson and many more. He moved to Panama City Beach in 1997 to play with the local show band “Clutch”. Most recently Craig has been playing live music venues on PCB and 30A.

The concert will be from 7 to 9 pm at 850 Art Gallery, 36 West Beach Drive in Panama City. Admission is still just $10 with comfortable concert style seating.
