On February 10th, the Gulf Jazz Society Concert at the House in Panama City will feature Dave Goldflies with his trio. Once again, the Gulf Jazz Society presents the multi-talented artist Dave Goldflies, this time playing Jazz violin. Dave played and recorded with the Allman Brothers band for several years, and is recognized as a pillar of the rhythm and blues community. He is principle bassist with the Panama City symphony, and now performs regularly with his band the “Brothers Revival”, along with classical quartets in various venues. Dave will be joined by Mike Levine on keyboards. Mike has performed with such notables as Dionne Warwick, Nat Adderly, and Mike Brecker, besides having four CDs of his own. Also performing, will be three-time Grammy recipient Steve Gilmore, who has played with alto sax great Phil Woods, Tony Bennett, Tom Waits, to name a few, and appeared on over 150 jazz recordings.
