Jazz Concert By The Gulf Jazz Society October 18th

Camara Kambon is an American Jazz pianist, film composer, music producer, and songwriter. At age 23, he became the youngest composer to receive a national Emmy award for scoring the HBO film “ Sonny Liston”: the mysterious life and death of a champion. He has received three Emmy nominations, three Grammy nominations, and a BMI Pop Award and Film/TV Award.

As a pianist he has performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Roy Hargrove, Delfeayo Marsalis, Roberta Flack, Gary Bartz, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra to name just a few.

Camara Kambon will be accompanied by the three time Grammy Award Winning Bassist, Steve Gilmore, and by Tallahassee Phenom Drummer, Nygel Aderson.

The cost is just $15 for the public, $10 for Gulf Jazz Society members.
