The next Gulf Jazz Society event will feature the performance of the Victor Payano Trio.
Victor Payano, saxophonist, educator, composer, Victor played with such artists as Rita Moreno, Tito Puente, Humberto Ramirez, Paquito D’ Rivera, Charlie Palmieri, and Dave Valentin.
Victor received his bachelor’s degree in music education from the Conservatory of Music in Puerto Rico. In 2002, he earned his master of music in Jazz performance from Florida University in Miami. Victor was a member of the Leesburg Jazz Repertory Orchestra. Victor’s music showcases a Latin flavor.
Performing with Victor will be Dr Jill Wofsey on piano and three-time Grammy award winner, Steve Gilmore on bass.
