The Victor Payano Trio will perform at this week’s Gulf Jazz Society concert at the House of Henry in Panama City.
Victor Payano, saxophonist, educator, and composer, has performed with such artists as Rita Moreno, Humberto Ramirez, Paquito D’Rivera, Charlie Palmieri, and Dave Valentin. Victor earned a bachelor’s degree in Music education from the University of Music in Puerto Rico. In 2002, he earned his master’s degree in Jazz performance from Florida International university in Miami. Victor is recognized for his music with a Latin flavor.
Victor will perform with the great Mike Levine on piano and three time Grammy Winner, Steve Gilmore on bass
