Just two days before the big feast, have we ever got a wonderful musical appetizer for you. Kathy Lyon returns to Jazz Night at Alice’s on Bayview Tuesday, November 23rd.
You probably remember Kathy’s last appearance where she sang favorites from the Great American Songbook. And no doubt she’ll come ready to regale you with more.
But Kathy has been busy these last few months working on a new project… recording her new album, “Nothin’ But Love”. The album marks her continued collaboration with sax great Houston Person, sideman for 30 years for the legendary Etta Jones. As you can see below, the album is getting “Nothin’ But Love” on the jazz charts.
Backing Kathy on this evening of tasty jazz will be Dr. Jill Wofsey on piano and our own legendary (and Grammy Award winning) bassist, Steve Gilmore.
