Gulf Jazz Society concert March 24th will feature the fabulous Saxophonist Craig Duran.
Craig graduated in 1990 from the University of North Florida with a jazz studies degree, and went on to play professionally on cruise ships, Disney World, and other regional jazz and pop venues. While at UNF, Craig shared the stage with numerous jazz greats like Branford and Wynton Marsalis, Joe Williams, the Count Basie orchestra, Dianne Reeves, Cassandra Wilson and many more. He moved to Panama City Beach in 1997 to play with the local show band “Clutch”. Most recently, he has been playing at local live music venues along 30A with local friends Mofro and J.J. Grey.
Appearing with Craig will be the popular favorite pianist Luke Pinegar, and 3-time Grammy award-winning bassist Steve Gilmore.
The performance is from 6:30 to 9 pm.
During the current street construction, ample parking and entrance at the rear of the building (alley entrance). The handicapped entrance is in the front.
