Sheila Ford at the Gallery of Art June 20

Gulf Jazz Society Concert June 20th at The Gallery of Art will feature vocalist Sheila Ford, accompanied by Luke Pinegar, pianist, and Steve Gilmore bassist. Beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks are available. Enjoy concert-style seating.

Sheila has dazzled audiences for decades in nearly every musical style, including big band, Jazz, blues, funk, pop, rock country, Latin, rap, as well as musical theater.

 A Baltimore native and Berklee College of Music alumni, Sheila has performed at Blues Alley, the Kennedy Center, New York City’s Dizzy’s club at Lincoln Center, and many festivals all over the globe. Luke Pinegar’s soulful playing and singing has made him a valued sideman, as well as a headliner. Steve Gilmore is a 3 time grammy winner for recorded jazz performance, and has toured worldwide notably with sax great Phil Woods. but also stints with Tony Bennett, Jim Hall, Tom Waits, Michelle Legrand, to name just a few.

The concert will be from 7 to 9 p.m., with a $10 admission.

The Gallery of Art 850 is located at 36.W.Beach Dr. Panama City. Close parking is very accessible.
